This policy describes how Pikasagi (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website (pikasagi.com) and our apps (for example, TaxHo). We aim to be clear and practical. If anything here conflicts with the App Privacy section on an app’s App Store page, the App Store disclosure for that version should be treated as the product-specific source of truth—please tell us if they drift apart so we can fix it.
1. Who we are
Pikasagi is the data controller for personal data we collect through this website and through business contact channels listed below. We are based in Hong Kong SAR.
2. This website
This site is mostly static. We do not run first-party accounts or comments on the page itself. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site unless we later add them and update this policy.
3. When you contact us
If you email us or message us (for example via Instagram), we receive whatever you send—typically your email address or profile handle, your message, and metadata your provider includes (such as timestamps). We use that information only to respond, support our apps, and improve our products where relevant. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Our apps (including TaxHo)
Our iOS apps may process information on your device to provide features you choose to use. Some features may rely on Apple’s systems (for example, sign-in, subscriptions, or device capabilities). Those are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices as well.
For each app, please read the App Privacy details on the App Store listing for the version you install. If we introduce new data practices, we will update the app’s disclosures and this policy when appropriate.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features in our apps are handled through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple provides us limited purchase and subscription status information needed to operate the service.
6. How long we keep information
We keep support and business emails only as long as needed to respond, maintain records for our operations, or meet legal requirements, then delete or archive them in line with good practice.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data. If you want to exercise a right, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are in Hong Kong, you may have rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). We will handle requests in good faith.
8. Children
Our apps and site are not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have collected a child’s data in error, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International transfers
If you contact us from outside Hong Kong, your information may be processed in Hong Kong or other locations where we or our service providers operate, always with appropriate safeguards where required.
